This is your very first visit with The Grassroots Clinic, conducted online through our secure telehealth platform. During this appointment, your clinician will review your medical history, discuss your treatment goals, and create a personalized care plan. If you qualify, your information will be entered into the Compassionate Use Registry of Texas (CURT). The initial consultation establishes your prescription and dosage for a full 12 months, and you will be connected with a licensed dispensary to arrange delivery or pickup of your medication.
This required visit takes place once every 12 months to keep your certification active in CURT. During this visit, your clinician will review your progress, monitor for side effects, and make any needed adjustments. The annual follow-up renews your prescription and dosage for another 12 months, ensuring your care continues without interruption.
These optional visits are available to existing patients at any time. They can be used to discuss changes in symptoms, ask clinical questions, or make dosage adjustments before your next annual follow-up. Unlike the initial consultation or annual renewal, an as-needed visit only updates your prescription or dosage for the remainder of your current 12-month care plan — it does not restart or extend the 12-month period.
